Mrs. Mildred Hayworth Davis, 95, passed away on Sunday June 18, 2017 at Hospice Home at High Point.



She was born on September 11, 1921 in Guilford County and was a daughter of the late Burch Hayworth and Delphia Payne Hayworth. She retired from Laughlin Hosiery Mill. Mildred attended Marlboro Friends Meeting until she moved to High Point then joined Oak Hill Friends Meeting.



In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Davis; sisters, Opal Spoon, Roberta Durham and Mary A. Hayworth; brothers, Franklin Hayworth...

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Davis; sisters, Opal Spoon, Roberta Durham and Mary A. Hayworth; brothers, Franklin Hayworth and Walter Hayworth.



She is survived by brother, Daniel G. Hayworth and his wife Bobbie Hayworth and several nieces and nephews.



A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Marlboro Friends Meeting in Sophia, NC and will be officiated by Rev. John Sides. Interment will follow at the Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
